Holly Fulton SS11: Video Interview with the designer

A 60s Joan Collins on a Cruise was the inspiration of the Holly Fulton SS11 collection. Here Holly talks to me about Raffia, Swarovski and being on the right side of bad taste...
FYI: Celia Loves it all!

Apologies about the incredibly loud background noise, tres annoying!

I need to get me some Holly Fulton in my wardrobe...!

Tamara Venn: Ink and Stylus

These are a small selection of the fantastic hand illustrated scenes by artist Tamara Venn. The pictures show a range of ethereal masked women, caged butterflies, fantastically floral prints and the odd piece of antique French furniture in exquisite detail. Tamara draws using the smallest nib she can find and black and white Indian ink. Her works are heavily influenced by Aubrey Beardsley and Edmund Dulac and heavy detail on each A4 page can take up to 5 months to complete. The tremendous amount of detail and craft work on each piece is dumbfounding and literally breathtaking. And with each print starting at just £10 and with every piece signed by the artist its a complete steal! Go to her website here and buy a print. Tamara is also taking commissions and can be contacted on t_venn@hotmail.com..
I am a hundred and fifty percent in love with her work and i am sure you will agree it is pretty impressive!
